Bodie, California...a town frozen in time in a "state of arrested decay". This town was a mining town in the late 1800's and is now maintained by the California State Parks Systems. Bodie used to be a booming little town of nearly 10,000 people, that consisted of miners, families, robbers, store owners, prostitutes, and gunfighters. It was also reported at one time that there was 65 saloons in Bodie. Now Bodie is known as a Ghost town.
