Dia Mundial da Energia - 29 de Maio

Criado em 1981, numa iniciativa da Direção Geral de Energia (em Portugal), o Dia Mundial da Energia é comemorado no dia 29 de maio. Esta comemoração tem por finalidade sensibilizar e motivar as pessoas quanto à necessidade de poupar energia, além de alertar sobre os impactos ambientais advindos da geração e a importância de preservar os recursos naturais. É também uma oportunidade de promover energias renováveis.
