Kagoshima - Japan

Head down to the southern island of Kyushu to explore Kagoshima, land of great seafood, scenic beaches, hot springs and unspoiled nature, including the volcanoes of Mt. Kirishima and Mt. Sakurajima. Kagoshima’s largest city, Kagoshima, is often referred to as the “Naples of the East.” According to Japanese creation mythology, the god Ninigi no Mikoto descended upon the Kirishima mountain range to establish the lineage of Japanese Emperors and bring peace to the land.
