Sisyrinchium ‘Blue Note’: Native of the southeastern United States, a clump-forming, evergreen perennial typically growing to 12" tall with an abundance of eye-catching violet-blue flowers (to 1/2" across) appearing late spring to early summer. An excellent plant for garden borders, mixed plantings or rock gardens. Full sun to light shade. (Although we placed this plant in our ornamental grass category and the foliage is grass-like, the blue-eyed grass is actually an Iris.) Zones: 4-9
