Item Details A vintage Buffalo Pottery serving platter, circa 1900s. The platter has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a light embossed pattern in the rim. It has a deep ombré blue-green gloss glaze with hand-painted transfer detail of a buffalo hunt. It is marked ‘Semi-Vitreous, Buffalo Pottery, Buffalo Hunt’ on base with the company’s stamped mark. Buffalo Pottery was originally established as a premium giveaway in conjunction with Larkin Soap.
