Starfish Flower Cactus - Stapelia grandiflora

The Stapelia Starfish Cactus is a spineless-clump forming succulent add a great height and wonderfully unique bloom in the Summer.  With increased sunlight, this turns a little brown or purple. Word to the wise, while this is a great houseplant, it is recommended you take this outdoors when it blooms.  The carrion smell is kinda foul.  :)  It blooms a large flower with a silky texture of patterned red color.  Grows to be around 8 inches tall.  Ships in nursery pots, or bare root if it is too tall Good indoor plant Loves full sun in the morning and afternoon partial shade Hardiness Zones: 9, 10
