Alberto Giacometti's Three Men Walking II 1949. Some argue that Giacaometti's is considered central to the Surrealist movement. Personally, I see many influences in his work, including Primitivism, Existentialism, Fauvism and Abstract Expressionism. His elongated indigenous looking figures compare to the Fauvists and Cubists as well, so he's quite a mix of Modern Art genres.
