The United States Department of Defense has confirmed that Saudi Arabia will be the launch customer for the light attack helicopter Boeing AH-6I "Little Bird", following the signing of a contract worth 234 million dollars for 24 aircraft. According to the basis of the contract, 24 aircraft will be delivered to Saudi Arabia in 2016. Riyadh could also embark on a second order AH-6I 36 aircraft in the course of 2015.
