Under view of Grumman Avenger banking left 80 degrees.Avenger's 1st experience of war was June 1942 at Battle of Midway,& was truly horrific.Of 6 Avengers which took off to attack Japanese fleet, only 1 returned.Much of blame for Avenger's vulnerability lies with torpedoes it was designed to use, which were far inferior to Japanese "Long Lance" torpedoes.Could only be dropped from low height & slow speed,& frequently failed to detonate when hit target.
