Three C-130 J-models are about to be unloaded at Lielvarde Air Base, Latvia, June 17, 2014 in part of the exercise Saber Strike 2014. In total, three 37th AS airframes landed on Lielvarde, making them the first ever U.S. Air Force aircraft to land on the runway. The first Airbus A400M new generation airlifter for the German Air Force has now been painted in its new colours at the Airbus Defence and Space facility in Seville, Spain. The dark, matte tone reduces the visibility of aircraft at altitude, as well as being radar-absorbent to make it harder to detect by radar.
