Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet, under command of Rear Admiral SV Bhokare,Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, sailed out May 18 on 2-and-a-half month long operational deployment to South China & North West Pacific.Indigenously built guided missile stealth frigates,IN Ships Satpura & Sahyadri,INS Shakti,fleet support ship,& INS Kirch an indigenous guided missile  corvette commanded by Commander Sharad Sinsunwal are participating in this deployment.

Two Indian Navy ships Satpura and Kamorta have been conducting training and security patrols while transiting the Indian Ocean and arrived in Fremantle on 4 June on a goodwill visit.INS Satpura is a Shivalik-class stealth multi-role frigate built for the Indian Navy and commissioned on 20 August 2011. The INS Kamorta, the first of four anti-submarine Kamorta-class stealth corvette, was commissioned on 12 July 2014.

Royal Navy’s newest &a sophisticated ship will make weekend visit to Liverpool.State-of-art Type 45 destroyer HMS Dragon will sail to city Friday March 7,going alongside Cruise Liner Terminal til March 10.During busy 4 days on the Mersey,will host potential Royal Navy recruits,Cadets,students,Royal Navy Reservists from HMS Eaglet & other local organisations. Sunday’s Sea Cadet visitors will come from across the North West region, including Chorley, Rochdale, Salford, Bolton and Fleetwood.
