Tarthang Tulku (b. 1934) Founder of Dharma Publishing, he produced some of the earliest translations and Tibetan artwork available in the west. Under his direction, Dharma Publishing has reprinted the entire Kanjur and Tanjur, the Tibetan Buddhist Canon in 128 Western-style volumes. His excellent series on Buddhism, Tibetan culture, and psychedelic psychology, provided a valuable introduction to the Buddha's teachings for many of us, long before ever meeting a teacher.

We human beings, we have this habit of being concerned with things that are immediate, things that are connected with us personally, and we tend to forget the general, the big picture. ~~Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche
