Before getting started, prepare whatever supplies you need for your chosen method. If you choose an ice cream maker or the KitchenAid® attachment, make sure to freeze and chill parts per your owner’s manual. For the KitchenAid® Ice Cream Maker attachment, we recommend freezing the bowl for 24 hours before use. Leave the freeze bowl in the freezer until you have completed step 1.
