Amalia of Oldenburg December (1818-1875) queen consort of Greece from 1836 to 1862 as the spouse of King Otto (1815–1867). Daughter of Duke Paul Frederick Augustus of Oldenburg (later Grand Duke of Oldenburg), born a duchess of Oldenburg. She at first won the hearts of the Greeks with her beauty, but unable to provide an heir. She and her husband were expelled from Greece in 1862. Spent the rest of her years in exile in Bavaria.

4 royal brides, 1 tiara. The Scroll Tiara, commisioned from Cartier by King George the VI, 3 wks before the coronation in 1936 for Queen Elizabeth I. Then passed to their daughter Queen Elizabeth II who never wore it in public, but loaned it to sister, Princess Margaret, 2 pic. She also loaned it to her only daughter Anne, lower left, in her young married years. Queen ELizabeth II most recently loaned this tiara to Catherine Middleton for her wedding to her Grandson Prince William

Princess Diana The first photograph I am going to analyse is an image of the iconic Princess of Wales Diana; this image was taken by the celebrated photographer Mario Testino. This was within a series of other photographs which were produced into a book called ‘Diana, Princess of Wales’, it was published in 2007, sadly this was 10 years after the sudden death of Diana.
Württemberg Diamond Diadem. Created using diamonds, gold, silver by court jeweler August Heinrich Kuhn, it was presented to Queen Pauline in 1820, the year of her marriage to first cousin King William I of Württemberg. He transferred some of the diamonds from the Württemberg state crown to help fill this diadem. That’s Pauline wearing the diadem in the portrait below.
