Dorje Dudjom. One of the king's ministers, sent to Nepal to invite Padmasambhava to Tibet, turned on to the teachings by Guru Rinpoche and Shantarakshita. He practiced Vajrakilaya, experiencing many miraculous states such as physical teleportation and the ability to pass through solid rock. He translated many Tantric texts and transmitted them to his clan. Dorje Dudjom transmitted Semde teachings to Rongzom Chokyi Wangpo. His future rebirths include Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo.

PALDEN LHAMO DUSOLMA. Palden Lhamo (Sanskrit: Shri Devi) counts among the primary protector deities of Tibetan Buddhism. Here she is shown in her “smoke-clad” form (Dusolma) riding a white-nosed donkey and surrounded by flames and billowing clouds of smoke. Her emaciated form is suggested by her sunken chest and gaunt limbs. To her left and right and below her are members of her retinue, which includes three mounted ferocious female attendants.
