Brigandine of English archer  (15 century).  We use plates 5.5 x 3.5 cm for this model of brigandine. Plates are placed vertically with overlapping. Distance between vertical rows of plates is 2.5 cm. Between the rows of plates, there are leather straps (sewn and rivetted) width 2 cm.

Borgoñota del grifo - Bourguignotte au griffon. Hacia 1540-1550. Long: 28 cm ; Anch: 19 cm; Peso: 2,5 kg. Atribuida a Giovanni Paolo Negroli, perteneció a un arnés de parada destinado a un Valois o un Medicis. Pese al nombre que tradicionalmente se le atribuye no representa a un grifo, sino a un animal fantástico, mezcla de pez con animal peludo. La máscara frontal, por contra, muestra un ser de aspecto vegetal. Paris. Musée de l'Armée (Dist. RMN-Grand Palais) Inv. nº H 149.
