Three Days of Water photograph by @ladzinski [1 of 10] Longs Peak Colorado's northern-most 14000 foot mountain is reflected in the crystal clear waters of Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. This entire valley was carved and sculpted by Pleistocene glaciers a process that began some 3 million years ago and ended roughly 10000 years ago leaving us with what we today call Glacier Gorge. Photo by @hellokrisdavidson // With dramatic views of cliffs waves and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge China Beach in San Francisco never disappoints. Its a small cove tucked away on the coastline in San Francisco's Sea Cliff neighborhood between Baker Beach and Lands End. During the gold rush the cove was used as a campsite by many of the Chinese fisherman who worked in and around San Francisco Bay hence the name. #SanFrancisco by natgeotravel

Petrified Forest National Park the next stop on this epic road trip was a complete surprise. We found ourselves blown away by the two hundred million year old petrified wood the Painted Desert in the north and this place: Blue Mesa. My first glimpses of the badlands of Blue Mesa were mesmerizing. The blue grey purple and tan banding of the different deposits eroded to form such interesting formations seemed surreal. I visited them several times and noticed that they turn different colors…

Photograph by @JohnStanmeyer Ghost Forest Ancient tree stumps exposed in the surf on the beach in Neskowin Oregon. Scientists estimate these trees are 1700 to 2000 years old drowned when possibly an earthquake struck this region of the Pacific Northwest United States dropping the land some 10 feet into the ocean. Today these stumps are often buried periodically exposes by the sand shifting in the heavy tide. Pleased to announce my next Visual Storytelling and Social Media workshop a 9-day…

Photo: @chrisburkard The Subway in Zion National Park is an amazing place, it's one for everyone's bucket list. In the fall the light hits the canyon walls and sets them afire, and it’s definitely the time of year to visit. Who knew so many colors could exist on a single stretch of rock.

One way in, one way out. The roads would wind and climb their way through the lush green terrain; what these streets lacked in safety they made up for in astonishing views. It was typical for villages scattered throughout the Faroe Islands to have a single means of entry which just added to the mystique surrounding such an otherworldly place. Nestled between Iceland and Norway, it is one of the most remote and unique places I’ve ever travelled to. Photo: @chrisburkard

Photo by @Spono. Moving south along the #WildAtlanticWay I wanted to check out the most southern spot and come to find out it's at #BrowHead #WestCork just down the road from #MizenHead. I got about this far before being turned back around for some filming taking place. Let's just say I'm glad they didn't use "the force". No worry since I still got an awesome view looking back towards #Crookhaven along the coast. #ireland #travelireland #natgeotravel #travel #wanderlust #adventure…
