The boat "Dancing Feather" is the one I had at my shop for a couple weeks. She has gently rounded sides (less curve than a typical Swampscott) and was built, Im told, in mid coast maine,Dancing feather on a 17+- foot length had a wider bottom than the Alpha at 21' loa. She also has fairly narrow and numerous planks for such a small boat, she does not have the typical tumble home in the sheer strake aft as many Swampscott boats do, and consequently her transom was cr
