HM Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan is the wife of King Abdullah II first born son of the late King Hussein of Jordan. The previous Queen, Noor Al-Hussein is the widow and last wife of the late King. She was the former American, Lisa Halaby, and became Queen consort upon her marriage to the King in 1978. Since the King's death she is now styled as dowager Queen Noor of Jordan.
