En 16662-1684, Le Nôtre transforme pour le Grand Condé les jardins du chateau de Chantilly et dessine les jardins du château de St-Germain-en-Laye entre 1663 et 1672 (son projet en perspective déviée l'emportant sur celui de Le Vau).
