The Roman Catholic Church of Nagymaros was built in the 14th century. Outside you can admire its octagonal 15th century late-gothic tower with the string course, and the stone-framed lancet windows with sill moulding. You can get inside through a gothic archivolt under the tower. Above the main entrance you can read the year “1509” in the arch stone of the gate. The Gothic Sanctuary with buttresses is framed by three sides of octagon.
