In the same vein as 'What The Ladybird Heard' (one of C's very favourite books when he was younger), both boys loved finding the glittery details in this book. It's not the most stand-out Julia Donaldson story for me, but we are HUGE fans of Lydia Monks and her illustrations are glorious here. The sea theme was also much appreciated by my two Octonauts fans ;)
