This masterfully carved, five ton, 25 foot monument is a landmark called "Harmony" in the high-elevation mountain town of Idyllwild, California. You really have to see it for yourself to really take in the beauty of this massive carving from a tree. Amazing talent!! The collection of life-sized native animals was carved with chainsaws into four large cedar trees that were glued together to create a raw block by local sculptor David Roy. It took him five years.
