A pair of Charles II stumpwork pictures, late 17th century the satin ground worked with a variety of stitches and techniques and padded silk faces, one depicting a nobleman on horseback being welcomed to a castle by a trumpeter and the other depicting a nobleman on horseback and his companion approaching a town with a young woman seated on the ground near the entrance
