Today Jericho celebrates it's 10,000 year anniversary. The date is mostly symbolic, though the city is one of the oldest in the world, "with evidence of settlement dating back to 9,000 BC and urban fortifications dating back to 7,000 BC, predating Egypt's pyramids by 4,000 years."
Alleyways of Jerusalem... very confusing! We got lost for almost 2 hours around 9pm. Best way to experience the old Jerusalem.
