This "Bust of Augustus' dates back to about 75 after Christ, it probably made in Rome. Auguste wears the crown of oak leaves, falling strips of the head and spreading over to the front shoulders whose left shoulder is draped. Eleven small holes on the crown suggest that it was adorned with acorns or gold leaf.
