Illuminated letters of the alphabet (with animals and people), and brilliant wash drawings of cheetahs, stags, rabbits, and people, etc., for children and to flourish texts, fill the famous sketchbooks of Giovannino de Grassi. De Grassi was a Visconti court artist, painter, and sculptor, which allowed him an education, and sources for work, thus an income. c.1390. Wash drawings. Artist: Giovannino de Grassi.
