9-1-14 ~ Celebrating the 1st combined no hitter in Phillies history! Hamels, Deikman, Giles, and Paplebon. Phils 7, Braves 0 #nohits
Keep Calm and Wait for April 1
Roy Halladay's no-hitter on October 6, 2010 in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Cincinnati Reds was a Philly sports moment for the ages. Halladay threw the second playoff no-hitter in history (the first being Don Larsen's Perfect Game in the '56 World Series), allowing just 1 walk to the 28 batters he faced and striking out eight Reds. Halladay became the first pitcher in baseball history to throw two no-hitters in the same season, after tossing a perfect game on May 29th in Miami. Doctober!
