Louis XV Fauteuils à la Reine

A rare pair of Louis XV carved giltwood fauteuils, upholstered in eighteenth-century Beauvais tapestry and attributed to Jacques-Jean-Baptiste Tilliard, circa 1765.

This chair belonged to Madame de Pompadour and remained in her home chateau at Bellevue.
