Hunting scenes. Made in Paris, France 1320-1330. Carved ivory. A.37-1923. This ivory panel, made in the middle of 14th century in Paris, is from the front of a casket. To the right a woman with a branch in her hand rides on horseback, followed by a servant carrying a hare on a pole. Behind him are a seated woman with a falcon and a man on horseback holding a falcon, accompanied by a servant and a dog. In the centre is the lock hole with four silver nuts in the shape of fleurs-de-lys
