Beautiful!!! Hipababy Podaegi - The podaegi is a type of baby carrier which originated in Korea. It has two long straps and a long blanket. The straps are the part of the carrier that holds the child's weight so the blanket can be of lighter materials than the body of a mei tai which is nice for summer. Pods can be used in a front carry from birth and a back carry from when your baby has good head control (around 3-4 months).

REVIEW DIY Mei-Tai Carrier While I found these particular instructions hard to understand, sewing my own mei tai carrier was actually one of the easier sewing projects I have done lately. The only thing I did differently was to cut and insert the padding after I flipped the body right-side out, and then sewed reinforcements into the body once it was closed. Great way to save money!
