sleeveless bodice lining
18th c French silk brocade caraco, lined with linen, edged with distinctive rose trimmed edge. This would have splayed out over a pannier widened skirt. The elbow length sleeves are trimmed with very rare original 18th c silk ribbon. Lined with linen. Pattern is expertly matched at front and back, green furry chenille is used to add dimension to the florals. Of course completely hand sewn and constructed.
