This ink troubles me. By tradition, we Jews do not have tattoos. It didn't go unnoticed in my troop that I was the only grunt without a unit tat. Maybe it's just sour grapes on my part. Yet, it is difficult in deciding what part of our loaned bodies are ours to do with as we like and what is faulty encroachment on to the lender's prerogatives. I would never judge another Jew in such things. I just wish my heart agreed with his - cause that tat rocks!
