The Strand in Galveston, TX. The old down town of Galveston, it's filled with boutiques, coffee shops, and bars. It has many 100 year old buildings that survived the 1900 storm, so it's an interesting place to visit, especially if you like history. Plus the Elissa is docked there, the official tall ship of Texas that was built in 1877.
