Would you fancy a SMOOTHIE? More seriously, we have started our regular SUGAR MEASUREMENTS. To do this, we sample on 4 sides of each plot around 200 berries and follow the evolution of sugars day-to-day. This helps us determine the HARVEST DATE, which will start on Monday for us on the Roussanne.

Nous continuons les vendanges des Roussanne qui, immédiatement après la récolte, sont délicatement pressées (pressoir pneumatique) pendant plusieurs heures puis refroidies dans un tank à lait pour le débourbage. ----------------------------- We keep on harvesting our Roussanne which are pressed right after the harvest. We press them gently using a pneumatic press and cool them down in a milk tank for settling. Photos Marion Barral
