Today's school lunch is caprese salad (with homemade basil pesto and a splash of balsamic vinegar - they are slowing warming up to vinegar), roasted cashews, whole-grain crackers with manchego cheese slices, and a hard-boiled egg. I'm not sure about how the crackers will hold up in the same compartment as the cheese, but the girls didn't seem to mind (plus it's a pretty dry cheese).
