The Lincoln Funeral Train is a full size replica of the train that carried the mortal remains of Abraham Lincoln from Washington, D.C. to Springfield, Ill. in May of 1865.
Tad seemed to enjoy the idea of throwing the White House and its staff into a dither. Because of the times, some of Tad's games were war-related. He received a pretend military commission from Secretary of War Edwin Stanton. (The National Archives photo shows Tad in the Union uniform that Stanton allowed him to wear.)

Le 12 novembre 1903, après plusieurs vols d’essai, le Jaune parcours 60Km en 1h41 pour atteindre le Champs de Mars, entre la Tour Eiffel et la Galerie des Machines, vestige des Expositions Universelles de 1889 et 1900. Dès la nouvelle connue, curieux, journalistes et notables accourent pour féliciter les frères Lebaudy. Le dirigeable est démonté, et mis à l'abri dans la Galerie des machines.
