Lapita Patterns The Lapita culture emerged in Oceania around 1500 BC in the north east of Papua New Guinea, Solomon islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Fidji... And is linked to the austronesians people. They are well known for their pottery and its typical patterns.
