Snowy Brighton. I used to stop here and walk through the palace on my way home from school sometimes. I especially loved the heavy rain days when no one else was around and I could just spend as much time as I wanted in each room.
Brighton's West Pier. Brighton, England. Brighton counts with two piers, the modern one: Brighton Marine & Palace Pier, from 1891. And the West Pier, from 1866 which was closed in 1975 and has slowly become the 'enigmatic' carcass above. If one approaches Brighton by car or coach through the west side of the coast the view of this dead pier is one of the first long-lasting impressions one gets from the city.
