City: New York, just like I pictured it. (36 x 36) Painting by brian nash
City: New York, just like I pictured it by Brian Nash; 36x36" | Artist note: "When I was a kid growing up in Boston, I would often go to NYC and stay with my mom's groovy cousin Julia, who lived on the UWS. Despite not being born there, I always think of Julia as the ultimate New Yorker, and, whenever I think of NYC, I think of her. And I can not in good conscience ever call the Pan Am building the Met Life building. It's a crime against nature. I'm pretty sure Julia would agree."
