Ikea hack: Kura bed + Malm drawers
Successfully hacked the Ikea Kura bunkbed to feature the Malm underbed drawers. It’s a tight fit but it works! Barely 1/2” of gap between the drawers, so I used a small strip of plywood to provide support for the bed frame after removing the original support piece. Installed just the rear casters on the drawers, so the front rests and slides on the bed frame. (Added some felt bumpers to make it slide smoother.)
