MOBY DICK FESTIVAL, 31st May - 2nd June 2013, YOUGHAL, Co. CORK, IRELAND: Celebrating Youghal’s links with Moby Dick, the weekend events will bring book-clubs, authors, readers & their families to the seaside town of Youghal, where Melville’s Moby Dick Novel was committed to film. Other events confirmed for families include street music, a monster teddy bears picnic, storytelling, treasure hunts, open air markets, cartoon making for kids and a sea creatures parade.
