Bulloch Harbour is one of a number of charming little harbours dotted along the coast of South County Dublin. Its finely preserved castle was built by the Cistercian order of monks in 1346 and it dominates the harbour and all of its approaches. The monks lived off the tolls they extracted from the ships and fishing boats who called to the harbour, an interesting and unusual mix of religion and commerce even at that time. http://www.wonderfulireland.ie/east/bulloch-harbour/#/
