Jean Baptiste Massier, a cousin of Clément and Delphin Massier, took over his late uncle's factory in Vallauris in the early 1870s. The pottery made under his supervision was signed "Jerome Massier fils," Jerome Massier 's son. Much of his art ceramics were destined for the home and garden.
