Stylized falcon wing backsplat surmounted by pillow back and padded arms resting on sphinx carvings. Reeded fascia front rail set between bas-relief torcheres. Turned and carved legs with lotus leaf detailing. ATTRIBUTED TO: Pottier and Stymus, circa 1875
