Vase by Georges Jouve
Vase by Georges JouveVase by Georges Jouve France 1950s Probably intended as a small pitcher or a creamer, this charming vessel by Georges Jouve would serve well as an intimate vase on one's writing desk. Jouve's trademark matte black (slightly iridescent) enamel is tonally balanced by the interior glazed in one of his equally typical (and delicious) greens. Signed with the artist's cipher, incised on the bottom of the piece.
