By Antonis Mor. Portrait of the Dutch traitor Willem IV van den Bergh (1537-1586). He was married to the oldest sister of the Dutch ruler William of Orange. Before AND a second time after the murder on Orange (in 1584) he decided to switch to the Spanish side. All his sons followed him. The youngest one Hendrick van den Bergh decided in 1632 to switch to the Dutch side, to the side of his own cousin Frederik Hendrik van Oranje Nassau.
