Hunting trophies always make me feel a bit icky - an overt display of masculine prowess. If you prefer something a little more tasteful (and child friendly!) then Dutch company Fabels have the answer. Fabels animal heads are all handmade piece by piece out of recycled clothing blankets and vintage material. Oh yeah no animals get harmed either.
The Cambridge Satchel Company make colourful handmade leather satchels based on an original Oxford and Cambridge satchel design aimed at school children. Their founder Julie Deane has described her goal as "what Harry and Hermione would have used at Hogwarts". Despite being aimed at kids the timeless durable satchels have gained high demand as a fashion accessory and have been adorned by the likes of Taylor Swift Alexa Chung and Zooey Deschanel. The secret to cool is school.
I had an inferiority complex as a young teen because my best friend always had a bigger Swiss Army knife than me. Over time I've come to realise that size doesn't matter - whether yours is big or small... you will still be able to remove small stones from horses' hooves. Pictured is the cute Animal 7-in-1 Multi-Tool from Kikkerland.
Preiser is a German family business that manufactures realistic miniature figurines for model railways and architectural models. They have been operating since 1949 and used to handcarve the figures out of wood - they have since become plastic but are still painted individually by hand. I have no idea how they pick their subject matter but they are brilliant - I particularly like 'women at campsite' 'cheating husband' and their series of 'drunken punks'.

We all know sneakers are great for sneaking but who knew they also make great puzzles. London-based designer Yoni Alter has recently transformed his colourful art print of the Nike Air Jordan into a fun 3D puzzle. Handmade from 19 handcrafted resin pieces and available in a strictly limited edition of only 30 puzzles. I have a sneaking suspicion these will be snapped up pretty quick!
