The Hoatzin - Nicknamed the Flying Cow/ Reptile bird due its crocidilian odor, its unusual diet, its harsh monotonous call and its clumsiness in air. These birds protect themselves with claws on the bend of each wing. These claws are used for scaling trees. These are one of few herbivorous birds- main diet: flowers, fruits and leaves. They are ruminants (like cows and sheep). Their young is protected by the release of smelly odor as well as retaining the batch of eggs inside itself.
