Per Getty: heavy gold band w/ colored stones & glass; made in 2 pieces, which were hinged & secured with pin decorated with green glass; edges folded perpendicularly out, forming ledge to protect stones: blue, green, red glass; emeralds; missing pearls; stones in pairs in simple gold settings. Shape is Roman, but design resembles jewelry from "edges" of Roman Empire…
